Décembre 2006 Cher Amaury, Nous avons eu une semaine merveilleuse dans ce beau studio ! Vous et votre frère avez vraiment fait un grand travail avec la rénovation et nous étions très confortable ici. Nous le recommanderons à d'autres, nous espérons que quand le "secret" de votre studio devient mieux connu, vous n'augmenterez pas le prix trop haut (ha ! ha ! ) merci encore et même si nous possédons une multi propriété à belair beach, nous souhaiterions resté encore ici, Nous vous souhaitons sincèrement une très grande saison touristique Steve & Irene PERMAN DRPERMAN@aol.com

Février 2007 Chers Amaury & Thibault, Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à Orient Bay et vos studios ont un très bon potentiel Les studios sont confortables et bien désignés, avec tout ce qu'il faut dedans, y compris le réfrigérateur, la machine à laver, la plaque vitro céramique, le micro-onde, et la TV Situé au nord d'Orient Bay, vous pouvez vous promener le long de la plage, prendre une navette pour l'îlet Pinel ou un peu plus loin pour goûter au plaisir de Grand Case. Ils sont situés dans l'ancien hôtel Mont Vernon, donc ne vous attendez pas à un hôtel all- inclusive avec un éventail de service, pensez au studio comme un logement privé pour votre séjour, sans concierge ou d'autres services relatifs, cependant l'énorme piscine est très bien entretenue ET très privée, pendant notre séjour, il y avait rarement plus de 15 personnes dans une piscine qui pourrait accueillir 10 fois cela Actuellement, il n'y a pas de service de restauration MAIS c'est un endroit tranquille et privé. Vous aurez besoin d'une voiture mais il y a un grand parking près des cours de tennis et Amaury peut vous aider à trouver une location de voiture à prix très raisonnable Il y a un choix d'épicerie dans les 10 minutes, des restaurants pour tous les budgets et tous les goûts et une très belle pharmacie à Cul-de-Sac juste en bas de la route La majeure partie des personnes qui résident sont français, propriétaires comme locataires, si une partie de vos objectifs de vacances est de pratiquer le français, c'est un bon endroit pour le faire, également, les propriétaires ont un très bon restaurant à Grand Case : le Bistrot Caraibes! July 2007 Amaury, Thanks for a great week at Mt. Vernon. The studio is very comfortable and the view of the beach in the morning is awesome. We didn't mind the stairs we had to take to the parking lot because the studio is very near. We didn't use the pool that much, however, it is spacious and very well kept. The renovations that are being done on the property will make Mt. Vernon one of the best places to stay on Orient Beach. Definitely, we will go back; this time for two weeks. July 2007 Hello Amaury and Thibaud, Thank you for sharing your wonderful studio! We explored many beautiful places on the island and the beach in front of Mt. Vernon was by far the most private and refreshingly beautiful source of water around. Also, thank you for allowing us to extend beyond our original reservations. Next time we visit we will be sure to visit your restaurant. You are so fortunate to live on such a gorgeous island. January 2008 Amaury & Thibault, I wanted to post this on your guestbook in reference to our stay in November of 2007. We had such a great stay. The flat was ideal! The kitchen was mondern and well furnished for our cooking needs. The beds were comfortable and firm. The flat had a cool, relaxing feeling; nice to come home to after a day on the beach or exploring Pinel Island. We usually took our breakfast on the patio with the sweet smell of the local flowers, and a wonderful view of the sea; lunches on Orient Beach with our feet in the blue Caribbean, and dinners at the Bistrot Caraibes or at our flat. The restaurant was unbelievable! What gourmet selections and the au gratin potatoes were to die for. We enjoyed grocery shopping in the local market. Adding to my limited French was made easier by interaction with the friendly locals. We can't wait to get back. Thanks so much for your hospitality. March 2008 Dear Amaury, Thanks so much for everything! We had a wonderful time in SXM. The room was just as promised; spacious beyond what the pictures show, and comfortable. We felt very safe and liked being away from the busy city areas. It was so nice to walk each morning down to Orient Beach. The pool is really very nice and it is always quiet. The roadway in leaves something to be desired, but once you are parked and in the studio- everything else is wonderful! We will return to see you for sure the next time we are in SXM. March 2008 Amaury & Thibault, I wanted to provide you with a review of our stay so you can post on your website. It follows, Kate and I were looking for a nice location that would be accessible but yet off the beaten path Your studio location was perfect!. This is our first time inSt Martin and we really enjoyed staying at your location given how close it is to the beach and the magnificent view to the each and the Atlantic ocean. The room was impeccably decorated, the appliances were brand new and the tiling was very beautifully done. The bathroom was also very nicely decorated and very well kept. So that's what we liked, clean and nicely kept. The pool was also very nice although we opted for the beach most times. Please feel free to give our name and email for any references for future customers. We are certainly planning on coming back, just make sure the new customers don´t get our room!!!! May 2008 Dear Amaury, We just arrived home in Massachusetts about an hour ago. I wanted to email you as soon as possible to thank you for an unforgettable experience in St.Martin. I have to tell you that we were a little apprehensive about staying at the former Mt. Vernon. We know that over the years it has fallen on bad times. We were thouroughly shocked when we opened the door to your studio!!! It was absolutely perfect. We also wanted to tell you that from the moment we met you in person we could tell that you are a gentleman of the highest quality. We hope that we can rent from you next year and stay for an even longer period of time. Five days is not enough time to live in paradise. We hope that all goes well for you in your restaurant as well. We enjoyed it immensely. We can only hope that the US dollar stabilizes against the Euro for the sake of both of us. June 2008 Hello Amaury & Thibault! There are no words to accurately describe our 4 week stay in your studio. We had an incredible time! It was all we had hoped for. We were so comfortable and felt completely at home. The studio was very clean and nicely decorated. We felt very safe and secure. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and ate most of our meals on the spacious patio while enjoying the amazing view!!!!!!!! The grounds have lovely trees and flowers that were nicely manicured. The pool is huge, very well kept with comfortable cushioned lounge chairs. Gorgeous view of the beach from the pool deck! People that we crossed paths with were very friendly. Security Staff as well as the pizza place and grocerie were friendly and accomodating. December 2008 Dear Amaury & Thibault, We wanted to thank you both for everything. We stayed at the old Mont Vernon multiple times through the 1990's when it was still a hotel. I was a bit apprehensive about staying there after it went private but I'm glad my wife dug up your website and glad we stayed in your apartment. The place was tastefully furnished, well equipped and safe. Both of you guys were friendly, courteous and very helpful. We also greatly enjoyed our experience at your restaurant, Bistrot Caraibes. January 2009 This was out first trip to SXM. Our stay in the studio for the month of January was absolutely wonderful! We were looking for a nice quiet and relaxing place, we found it! It's very safe and secure just like home.... To simply be able to sit out at nights and hear the ocean wave bouncing on the shore and see the lights of homes in the mountain as a view from our studio, what else can you ask for! Total relaxation.... The size of the studio is perfect for a couple; very clean, comfortable, has all you need and the washing machine in the kitchen is definetely a plus for a long stay, along with the safe for your personal secure use. Orient beach is beautiful and a great walking beach where we would take a stroll every morning before breakfast. The pool area is also kept very clean. Our only regret, it to not have eaten more than twice in your restaurant , the Bistrot Caraïbes in Grand Case! The food, service and atmosphere we still treasure! We rented a Kia Picanto for the month (very good little car, never had any problems) booked online from Automax, their service was exceptional and wonderful to deal with, we highly recommend them also. There is an internet cafe at the grocery store on the premises which was very convenient. Best regards, and until next time!
